Welcome, Welcome, TLN'ers!
Today is my day to blog at MAMA WRITERS. Swing by and check out "This Is Sure To BOWL You Over!"
My CP Group, Friday Night Write, has its usual post up. We're dishing about our date night to go see Sherlock!
I lucked out and scored a date night with my dashing hubby on Saturday night! My college roomie and her hubby joined us for dinner and a movie. We had a delicious meal at a local Louisiana style restaurant. They chowed on all the forbidden foods I'm not allowed. *le sigh!* But it was still fun to enjoy a meal without having to juggle eating and controlling toddlers. Yay!
It's Complicated was the flick we watched and let me tell you it was a hoot and a half! Too much fun!! I hadn't laughed so hard in quite awhile!
How was your weekend? Did you do anything exciting?

Good for you for sticking to your healthy eating while the others indulged!
Glad you and hubby got a date night, though, nothing like a few hours away from the kiddies to recharge your battery.
Oh I've been dying to see that movie, just love Meryl and Alec has grown on me over the years.
Nope, nothing exciting for me, just a typical weekend of chasing around too much, LOL.
Hugs!
Nic
Sounds like you had a wonderful time. So good to get out and relax I bet.
Me? Stuck in, worked on knights... guess that's a good thing though.
Date night are the best!
HI Nic!!
You'll love the movie! I have such crush on Alec. He's such a good looking man! I swear my stomach hurts from laughing. And oh! There were some great lines in there, too!
Hope you get a date night soon! You deserve it! :)
Hi Kaye! :)
Staying in is my usual night. This was a rare treat. I owe my folks for driving 45mins to come watch my kiddos! Love them!
A typical weekend is hubs and I going what we do every night: watch a TV show, I fold clothes, and go to bed. LOL So, getting out was awesome!
Helen!!
Yeah, I agree! Plus, we got to hang out with our friends. So nice to chat and not have a four year old chiming in. LOL We all definitely need to treat ourselves to a little time away!
Hi Sarah! Nice to meet you! I recognize several of the commenter's above, which means it's time to slap you on the blog roll!! ;)
Thanks for stopping by, and for your kind words about Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between.
Jaime
HI JA!!
Thanks for popping over!LOL I've seen you on all those ladies blogs, too. I didn't know you had a blog until Cari posted the link. Funny how the blogging world is so small, huh?! Too cool!
Glad you had a nice night out, Sarah...sorry about not being able to eat all the good stuff though. :(
It's Complicated sounds great...I can't wait to see it!
And I'm also happy you found Jaime's blog through mine...she's awesome!
Hi Cari!
LOL Thanks for "introducing" us! From the excerpt I read, she certainly is awesome! And her blog is very chic, too.
I know you'll enjoy it, Cari. It was worth the $10!
Date nights? I remember those - vaguely. When you have 4 kids under 10 I always feel guilty letting them loose on someone else! They're good kids, but you're way outnumbered! I'm so with you though on eating and not having to watch what all the kiddies are (or are not) doing.
Oh, I'm feeling ya, Kaily!! I get more stressed out going out to dinner with the kids then I do going to say the grocery store. LOL Hey, in the store- they are contained in a cart. :) I can't even imagine taking four out. Sheesh! You're totally a rock star in my book! :)
