Well, well, like a bad penny . . . Moanday is baaaacck!
How was your weekend? Once again my flew by like a pair of ducks in hunting season. One blink and well, it's gone.
I got to see my folks and go to a theatre performance of ANNIE with my mom and little girl. Talk about fun! Reminded me of why I love musicals so much. :)
It also got me to thinking. What if they started making romance novels in movies. LOL Besides La Nora's tales. (Here is where my hubs would say, "Isn't that what a soap opera is?") Silly men!
I'd love to see Julie Garwood's RANSOM and Sherilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter Series on the silver screen. With 100% alpha males, kickin' heroines, and plots that leave you yearning for more, we're talkin' pure chick flick fun!
What about you? WHICH OF YOUR FAVORITE BOOKS WOULD YOU LOVE TO SEE ON THE SILVER SCREEN?

I'd like to see Jasper Fforde's books brought to life on the big screen, but they'd be so difficult to do. (Start with The Eyre Affair, if you're gonna read his.)
I really want to see C.S. Lewis' The Horse and His Boy brought to the to screen. I just hope that they don't royally screw it up if they do it. It's one of those ones that rarely gets made. The focus gets put on the ones with the four main kids.
Outlander Series by Diana Gabladon with Claire and Jamie lighting up the screen.
I also love J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Just love those brothers! :)
Actually, I'd prefer my favorite books not be made into movies. I like imagining for myself what the characters look like.
I'm with Susan (above). I adored Sophie Kinsella's Confessions of a Shopaholic and couldn't wait to see the movie. They destroyed it!
I do think Clinton McKinzie's series about the Burns brothers would make a fabulous action movie (it's not romance). It's about an almost burned-out, honest, dedicated, always-in-trouble state investigator. Both he and his law-breaking brother are world class rock climbers. If you like action and sexy men, you might want to check them out. Mr. McKinzie stopped writing several years ago to "reconnect". I hope he someday continues the series.
I'd love to see the Black Dagger Brotherhood books (JR Ward) on the big screen! YUMMY
HI Stephanie, Susan, and Sheri!
It's always a gamble when they make a book into a movie. Of course, I do like the movie version of Gone WIth The Wind better than the book. Scarlet had like six kids in the book and she definitely NOT motherly. So, giving her only one in the movie was better. LOL But I still adore versions. :)
Karen and Lynn, Having you both suggest that series make me highly intrigued. I may have to check them out!
Thanks ladies for offering up some awesome titles to scope out!!
